President Muhammadu Buhari will not speak on the election of Senator Bukola Saraki as Senate President until the All Progressives Congress (APC) has held a meeting, his spokesperson says.
Saraki
emerged President of the upper legislative house today, June 9, 2015,
after reportedly shunning a meeting called by Buhari to broker peace in
the party.
The President’s media aide, Garba Shehu
is said to have stated that Buhari would not issue a statement on the
development until he could hold a meeting with the APC, according to
Sahara Reporters.
