Unfortunately Heartland Suspend Coach Onuh Olottah

The Naze Millionaires have suspended their handler after alleged tantrum to players and alleged division of the team

Heartland FC of Owerri have suspended their technical adviser, coach Erasmus Onuh Olottah after many weeks of speculation regarding his future.

He was punished over what the management described as 'factionalisation of the team' and also for the penchant to publicly castigate the quality of his own team which often demoralizes the players.

The suspension letter which was signed by the club's General Manager, Prince Okey Ibe and made available to Goal with Bethel Orji  asked to take over until further notice.

Similarly, the management also redeployed the feeder team technical consultant, Patrick Awajah to the main team to act in advisory role until the club decide what would be the next line of action for the suspended coach.

“It is official that the coach has been suspended after those reasons stated in the press release. We are going to investigate the matter raised and we are not going to take sides at all in the dispense of justice," media officer Cajetan Nkwopara told Goal.

"We don’t want to joke with anything that could lead to disaffection in the team. We are preparing for a very tough match against Enyimba on Wednesday and we won’t like anything to distract us from this important job.”

The suspension came barely a day after the Heartland pummeled Bayelsa United 4-1 in a Week 11 tie played at the Dan Anyiam Stadium,Owerri.

Under Onuh, Heartland won two away games and garnered 18 points from possible 33 after 11 games.
