Farewell: Iker Casillas Prepares To leave Real Madrid
Real Madrid goalkeeper, Iker Casillas is to be upstage at his club by David de Gea, no wonder they have no love for each other.
The goalkeeper is set to leave the Spanish club due to the arrival of Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
The move will allow the incoming De Gea to become Real Madrid’s undisputed number one when he signs next week.
De Gea according to reports will complete his switch after international duty with Spain on Sunday, 14.
Casillas will depart from Real Madrid after 16 years at the club or face a stint on the bench as the club’s second goalkeeper.
Casillas who has two years left on his current contract wants to be them paid in full if he is to quit.
The 34-year-old has offers from Turkish giants Fenerbahce and is reportedly been explored by Arsenal.
