Berkeley Balcony Collapse: Six Students Die In US city

Five Irish students and another young woman have been killed when a fourth-floor balcony in California collapsed.


The incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning in the university town of Berkeley. Seven others were hurt.

Irish officials say the students were holding a birthday party at the time, but it is not yet known why the collapse happened.
