Man Utd clocked 39 injuries in 2014/15 season




Newcastle United had the highest
number of days sidelined through
injury with 1,871 days
Manchester United topped the injury
table with 39 throughout the campaign
Manchester United suffered the most
injuries of any Premier League side last
season, a study has revealed.
Louis van Gaal’s side had a total of 39
players sidelined throughout the
campaign, but the club still managed a
top four finish in the Premier League.
United suffered most of their injuries in
the first third of the season as Van Gaal
struggled to adapt to the English top
flight in his first season in charge, but
last-day survivors Newcastle lost the
most days through injury with a
staggering 1,871, a total 405 days higher
than second-place Arsenal.
