Kanu sponsors more Nigerians to India for heart surgery

Kanu Nwankwo through his foundation has sponsored a host of Nigerians to heart surgeries in India
Ex-Super Eagles captain, Kanu Nwankwo is currently saving a lot of Nigerian lives through his Kanu Heart Foundation.

According to the former Arsenal man on Twitter, some Nigerians have been sponsored by his foundation to India where they will undergo heart surgeries.
"Please let us pray for kanu heart foundation patients going to India so the operation will be successful. we got more ," Kanu wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of himself and the beneficairies.
Kanu Nwankwo himself suffered from heart related ailments which was detected shortly after after returning from the 1996 Olympics while undergoing a medical examination at Inter Milan.
He underwent surgery in November 1996 to replace an aortic valve and did not return to football until April 1997.
Kanu's experience led him to the launch of his Kanu Heart Foundation, an organisation that helps Africans who suffer heart defects.
