Amnesty International: These are the 9 senior Nigerian officers group has accused of war crimes [PHOTOS]







According to a damning new report, the
country’s military caused the deaths of
8,000 innocent people in its war against
Boko Haram.

Former Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral
Ola Sa’ad Ibrahim
Human rights watchdog, Amnesty
International has accused the Nigerian
Army of committing war crimes.
According to a damning new report, the
country’s military caused the deaths of
8,000 innocent people in its war against
Boko Haram.
Amnesty International also urged
President Muhammadu Buhari and the
International Criminal Court (ICC) to
investigate some senior Nigerian
military officers for the alleged war
crimes.
The nine officers involved are:

Former Chief of Army Staff, Gen.
Azubuike Ihejirika

Former Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral
Ola Sa’ad Ibrahim
3.
Current Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief
Marshal Alex Badeh
4.
Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Kenneth
Minimah

Brig.-Gen. Austin Edokpayi

Maj. Gen. John Ewansiha
7.
 Maj. Gen. Obida Ethnan
8.
Maj. Gen. Ahmadu Mohammed

Brig. Gen. Rufus Bamigboye.
