According to the foundation, Emmanuel’s uniqueness was displayed when he said in an interview session on AIT immediately after his victory that Dr. Godswill Akpabio has laid a very strong foundation which a skyscraper could be erected upon and it would be unfair for a governor with a ‘bungalow mentality’ to emerge.
In a congratulatory message to the governor-elect, the Foundation’s President, Moses Udo-Udo Umoren, said that they endorsed his candidature, mobilized and sensitized members throughout the 31 local government areas to vote for him.
“To us, this did not come as a surprise not just because you worked for and deserved victory but also because it was a divine mandate; which has never been trampled upon or compromised. The more reason we were the first to present a congratulatory banner to the campaign secretariat a day to the election, Yes, because we saw it coming,” he said
