Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi has charged his teammates to beat Chad mercilessly ahead of the team’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Kaduna. Onazi, who was still embittered with the team’s failure to qualify for the 2015 showpiece, revealed that the team must play well if the team must achieve its desire goal. He expressed indifference with suggestions of scouting out opponents before games. ”I don’t really need to know how good they are, we must respect every opponent, we respect them and do what we’re supposed to do. ”If you must want to show you are bigger than a team, you play well and beat them well. As a matter of fact this is what we have in mind and that’s what we’re going to do,” he said. Meanwhile, Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa insists the team must work extremely hard if the team must overcome Chad at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna. The team will play Chad on June 13 and will be aiming to start its Nations Cup campaign on a bright note. “It is good to start the qualifiers at home against Chad, we the players have to work very hard to see that we win the game well in other to make our fans happy again,” Musa said. “We know it is not going to be a victory that will come on a platter of gold because it is Chad as minnows don’t exist again, so we have to be focused and determined to crush them and show that we are the better side.”
