Terrorists Kills Three Maiduguri Residents

 
 Suspected members of dreaded Boko Haram sect on Thursday slaughtered three people who specialised in firewood and charcoal business at the outskirt of Dala Alamdari ward of Maiduguri metropolis.


Sources said, the victims were among the six group of people who went to a nearby bush to fetch firewood, but run out of luck as they clashed with suspected fleeing terrorists, who gunned down one of them and slaughtered two, while the others escaped tell the story.

The source added that, upon hearing the sad news, members of vigilante group a.k.a civilian JTF mobilized to the scene where they met three of the firewood dealers dead with their throats completely slit open.

A resident of Dala who participated in the burial of the slain firewood dealers, Mallam Usman Ali Dala confirmed the incident.

“Yes three people including one of my neighbour was among those killed by terrorists when they went to a nearby bush to look for firewood in other to meet family needs.

“We buried them yesterday (Thursday) according to Islamic rites”. Ali Dala said.

A top security source who is not authorised to talk to the press also confirmed the incident, pointing out that the terrorists that clashed with the victims were suspected to among those who were running from the military raid in sambisa forest.
