MTV VMA 2015 Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, lead Nomination List
The 2015 MTV VMAs nomination list have been announced, and it led by Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran and Kendrick Lamar. The VMAs announced the nominees for all categories on Apple Radio.

Swift leads this year’s VMA nominations with 11 total categories with the clips for her 1989 singles ‘Blank Space’ and ‘Bad Blood.’ ‘Bad Blood,’ which is up for Video of the Year is also nominated for Best Collaboration and a number of technical awards. Meanwhile, ‘Blank Space’ is nominated for Best Female Video and Best Pop Video.

Kendrick Lamar, who is nominated alongside Swift for ‘Bad Blood’ fared well on his own, too. The music video for ‘Alright’ is also up for Video of the Year as well as Best-Hip Hop Video and some technical awards.

Other big videos this year include Beyoncé’s ‘7/11,’ which is up for six awards including Video of the Year and Best Pop Video. Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud’ and Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’ with Bruno Mars were also nominated for five VMAs apiece.

Voting for the 2015 VMAs opened up at 11 a.m. today on MTV’s website. The awards will run on Aug. 30.
